Hello! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York with six years of experience working in both residential and outpatient mental health settings. I earned my Master of Social Work from Widener University in 2022 and specialize in helping adolescents and young adults navigate depression, anxiety, and trauma.
Welcome to my page and congratulations on taking the first step to improved mental health. My name is Stephanie and I have been a social worker for the past 13 years. I have since had much experience working with adolescents and adults with both medical and mental health challenges. I have also worked closely with new moms on many of the challenges they face postpartum and working through those challenges together. My experiences in both inpatient and outpatient settings allow me to connect with clients at various stages to help overcome challenges.
Congratulations on making it this far in your therapy journey! I look forward to working with you. We will work together to get you to you where you would like to be in your life. Our first step is for me to listen to what is going on in your life, talk together about some of your goals, and work with you in accomplishing them.
I've been a therapist since 1994. I worked for a major organization providing therapy to groups, and individuals, and supervising other therapists for 21 years . I graduated with honors, have a Bachelors in Psychology and Masters in Social Work of which I am at the most advanced standing level.
Hope, contentment and peace are some of what our work in therapy will bring to you. I invite and encourage you to reach out to me! Congratulations for taking this first step in your therapy journey !
I’m Dr. Gina Sissoko, a licensed clinical psychologist passionate about helping women—especially Black women, immigrant women, and high-achieving professionals—heal from trauma, manage stress, and create lives that feel balanced and authentic.
My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in both science and cultural awareness. I specialize in supporting women navigating burnout, relationship challenges, and the effects of racism or gender bias at work. In our sessions, I create a space where you can slow down, feel seen, and rebuild confidence from the inside out.
I have been working in the field of social work/ counseling for three decades. I am approachable, non-judgmental and believe that everyone has something special about them. At times life's challenges cloud our ability to believe this and darken our outlook on life and ourselves. I enjoy helping my clients see their worth and live a happier life. I also grew up with a sister with significant developmental delays and autism. My childhood definitely cultivated my desire to work in this field, while also giving me first hand experience about the challenges of being a sibling to a brother or sister with special needs. I have worked with many children and teens who may be struggling with a similar family dynamic.
I'm Arnice (she/her), a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Queens, NY, offering telehealth therapy across New York in both English and Spanish.
My work centers on the things that often go unspoken — the guilt of a gambling habit that's taken more than money, the way substance use can quietly reshape a family, the arguments that start small and somehow never get resolved. I work with adults and teenagers (13+) facing these and other challenges, including anxiety, depression, anger, and the complicated feelings that come with relationship and family stress.
I trained at NYU and Adelphi University and have spent my career working with individuals, couples, and families — especially those navigating addiction, behavioral health concerns, and the everyday tensions that build up in close relationships. I use approaches like CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Gottman Method, and somatic techniques, always adapted to what actually fits the person in front of me.
Being bilingual isn't just practical — it means I can meet you in the language where your feelings live. I take Aetna, Anthem/Empire, Carelon, and Cigna.
I have spent most of my life helping people be the best versions of themselves, in one capacity or another. As a trauma-responsive counselor, I have several years of professional experience working with adults dealing with a variety of mental health issues (e.g., anxiety, depression, addiction, loss, life transitions, relationship issues, etc.). What is most important to my client is most important to me. I strive to help clients feel safe, heard, and empowered to navigate whatever life handles them.
Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. It is my goal to provide a safe space for my clients to feel supported, respected and challenged. I have been working in this field since 2001 with diverse population's. I have worked with client's with a variety of mental health issues, such as Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, and Trauma. Beyond the credentials and education I just want to help people move forward. I believe that everyone wants and deserves to be heard and understood.
